Often, I tell others that despite my years of shooting, I still feel I have so much to learn about taking truly captivating pictures. My approach is simple: I point the camera and press the shutter. In that fleeting moment, I possess a vision, a belief that the scene before me holds something intrinsically captivating — it might tell a story, invoke an emotion, or set a distinct mood.

So, when I was once asked to title a photo series I had submitted for review, "In Motion" instantly came to mind. It's a play on the word “Emotion” and aptly mirrors the dynamic nature of how those images were captured. These are photos I took during routine moments, whether commuting, traveling, or just grabbing dinner. My hope is that these images prompt viewers to ponder the narrative behind them, perhaps finding a connection, or even experiencing a chuckle or a stirring emotion.

"[IN]Motion" is a culmination of my work since 2011. They reflect my observations of the spaces I traverse and the fleeting, intimate moments I share with those unaware that they've become the subjects of my lens.
