GE2025 Singapore: On the Ground, Through My Lens

GE2025 has come and gone. Once again, I found myself back on the ground. I was drawn to the rallies, the crowds, the cheers, and the quiet moments between speeches. I’m not a political expert or a commentator, but just someone who enjoys being among the people, observing and capturing moments as they happen.

For me, it’s never just about the speeches or promises. What draws me in most are the people who show up. Some are young, some are older. Not only that, rain or shine, they arrive with flags in hand, voices raised, or simply watching in silence.

Whether it’s the ruling party or the opposition on stage, every rally brings something raw, honest, and deeply human. That’s what I aim to capture. These are moments that often go unnoticed, but they reflect the heart of participation.

Some scenes burst with energy. Chants fill the air. Flags wave. Voices echo into the night. But other scenes are quiet. Someone might be standing alone at the edge of the field, eyes fixed on the stage. Both kinds of moments matter. They tell different parts of the same story.

These events remind me that politics is not just about policy. It is about presence, emotion, and the act of showing up. Every person in the crowd contributes to the atmosphere, from the loudest cheer to the quietest gaze.
